All ticket sales for Cupid's Cadence 2026 are FINAL and NON-REFUNDABLE

Thank you for choosing Cupid's Cadence 2026, Shillong's most premium Valentine's concert experience. Due to the exclusive nature of this event, limited capacity, and significant advance planning required, we maintain a strict no-refund policy.

Important Notice

By completing your ticket purchase, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • All ticket sales are FINAL
  • NO REFUNDS will be provided for any reason
  • NO EXCHANGES for different packages or dates
  • NO TRANSFERS to other persons without organizer approval

2. No-Refund Policy Details

2.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellations

We do NOT provide refunds for customer-initiated cancellations under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Change of plans: If you can no longer attend the event
  • Personal emergencies: Including illness, accidents, or family emergencies
  • Travel issues: Flight cancellations, transportation problems, or inability to reach venue
  • Weather conditions: Rain, storms, or unfavorable weather (event will proceed unless unsafe)
  • Work commitments: Last-minute work obligations or schedule conflicts
  • Relationship changes: Breakups, disputes, or relationship status changes
  • Financial reasons: Change in financial circumstances
  • Accommodation issues: Hotel booking problems or lodging unavailability
  • Entry denial: Failure to meet entry requirements (age, ID, couples-only policy)
  • Duplicate purchases: Accidental multiple bookings
  • Change of mind: Simply changing your mind after purchase

2.2 Ticket Non-Usage

If you purchase tickets but do not attend the event for any reason:

  • NO REFUND will be issued
  • Your tickets will be forfeited
  • No compensation or credit for future events
  • Tickets cannot be transferred to another date or event

3. Why We Have a No-Refund Policy

Cupid's Cadence 2026 is an exclusive, limited-capacity event that requires extensive planning and resource allocation. Our no-refund policy exists for the following reasons:

Limited Capacity & Exclusivity

We have strictly limited tickets to ensure an intimate, premium experience. Once your tickets are sold, those slots cannot be filled by other couples on short notice, especially for exclusive packages like VVIP (only 10 couples).

Advance Planning & Commitments

We make significant advance commitments including venue booking, artist contracts, catering arrangements, décor setups, staff hiring, and vendor payments—all based on confirmed ticket sales. These commitments are non-refundable on our end.

Customized Add-Ons & Services

Many packages include personalized add-ons like on-stage proposals, private photography, candlelight tables, and custom arrangements that are prepared specifically for you. These cannot be canceled or repurposed.

Premium Experience Investment

As a luxury event, we invest heavily in creating an unforgettable experience—from stage design to gourmet dining to professional entertainment. These investments are made based on your confirmed attendance.

Preventing Fraud & Speculation

A strict no-refund policy prevents ticket speculation, bulk buying for resale, and fraudulent refund claims that would compromise the integrity of our ticketing system.

Couples-Only Policy Enforcement

Our couples-only entry policy means we cannot simply resell individual tickets. When a couple cancels, we cannot fill that slot with random individuals, maintaining the event's romantic integrity.

4. Exceptions to the No-Refund Policy

The ONLY circumstances under which refunds will be considered are:

Organizer-Initiated Event Cancellation

If Cupid's Cadence 2026 is cancelled by the organizers (Jasarena India Pvt. Ltd.) due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a FULL REFUND including:

  • Complete ticket price refund
  • Refund of all add-on purchases
  • Processing within 14 business days
  • Refund to original payment method

Note: We are NOT liable for travel, accommodation, or other third-party expenses.

4.1 Event Postponement

If the event is postponed to a different date:

  • Your tickets remain valid for the new date
  • You will be notified via email and SMS
  • If you cannot attend the new date, refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis
  • Refund approval is at the sole discretion of management

4.2 Significant Event Changes

If there are substantial changes to the event format (venue change to a different city, date change by more than 30 days, etc.), refunds may be considered. However, minor changes such as:

  • Artist/performer substitutions
  • Schedule timing adjustments
  • Menu or service modifications
  • Décor or layout changes

... do NOT qualify for refunds.

5. Entry Denial & Refunds

No Refund for Entry Rule Violations

If you are denied entry for violating our entry requirements, NO REFUND will be issued. Entry denial reasons include:

  • Age below 21 years
  • Failure to present valid government ID
  • Attempting stag entry (single persons not allowed)
  • Attempting group entry (must be couples only)
  • Both partners not present together
  • Intoxication or drug influence at entry
  • Inappropriate attire or dress code violations
  • Disruptive behavior or security concerns
  • Presenting fake or tampered IDs

It is YOUR responsibility to understand and comply with all entry requirements BEFORE purchasing tickets.

6. What You Should Do Before Purchasing

Important: Think Before You Buy

Before completing your ticket purchase, please ensure:

  • Confirm your availability: Check your schedule, work commitments, and personal plans for February 14, 2026
  • Verify entry requirements: Both partners are 21+ with valid government IDs
  • Confirm relationship status: You have a partner to attend with (couples-only event)
  • Check travel arrangements: Book accommodation and transportation in advance
  • Review all terms: Read our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy carefully
  • Budget appropriately: Ensure you can afford tickets without needing a refund later
  • Confirm package details: Review what's included in your selected package
  • Health considerations: Ensure both partners are healthy and able to attend
  • Discuss with your partner: Both partners should agree to attend

7. Alternatives to Refunds

While we do not offer refunds, here are some alternatives if you cannot attend:

7.1 Transfer to Another Couple (With Approval)

  • You may request to transfer your tickets to another couple
  • Transfer requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the event
  • Both the original purchaser and new attendees must provide full details
  • Transfer approval is at the discretion of management
  • A transfer processing fee of ₹500 applies
  • The new couple must meet all entry requirements (age 21+, valid IDs)

  • Your booking ID
  • Original purchaser details
  • New couple's full names, phone, email, and age proof
  • Reason for transfer

7.2 Package Upgrades (If Available)

  • If you wish to upgrade your package (e.g., Silver to Gold), contact us
  • Upgrades are subject to availability
  • Pay the difference between packages
  • Downgrades are NOT permitted and will not result in refunds

8. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

Chargeback Policy

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute for a valid ticket purchase is considered fraud.

  • We will contest all illegitimate chargebacks
  • Your booking will be immediately cancelled
  • You will be denied entry to the event
  • Your name will be blacklisted from future events
  • Legal action may be pursued for fraudulent chargebacks

If you have a legitimate payment issue, contact us first before disputing the charge.

9. Force Majeure & Unforeseen Circumstances

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, storms)
  • Pandemics or health emergencies
  • Government orders, lockdowns, or event bans
  • Terrorism or civil unrest
  • Venue unavailability due to unforeseen circumstances

We will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the event. However:

  • If the event is cancelled due to force majeure, refunds will be issued
  • If the event is postponed, your tickets remain valid for the new date
  • We are not liable for your travel, accommodation, or other expenses

10. Processing Times & Methods

In the rare case that a refund is approved (e.g., organizer-initiated cancellation):

10.1 Refund Timeline

  • Refund processing: 7-14 business days from approval
  • Bank credit: Additional 5-10 business days depending on your bank
  • Total time: Up to 30 days from refund approval

10.2 Refund Method

  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method only
  • If original payment method is unavailable, bank transfer will be arranged
  • You must provide valid bank account details for transfers
  • Refunds will be in INR (Indian Rupees) regardless of original payment currency

10.3 What Gets Refunded

If a refund is approved, it will include:

  • ✅ Ticket price (package cost)
  • ✅ Add-on purchases (proposals, candlelight tables, etc.)
  • ✅ Booking fees (if applicable)

Refunds will NOT include:

  • ❌ Payment gateway processing fees
  • ❌ Travel expenses (flights, trains, buses)
  • ❌ Accommodation costs (hotels, homestays)
  • ❌ Shopping or gift purchases for the event
  • ❌ Third-party services booked separately
  • ❌ Opportunity costs or lost time
